Australian National University (ANU) has launched Global IT Factory’s Curriculum management System

Global IT Factory and Australian National University (ANU) collaboratively launched the new Curriculum Management System on 31 October 2018 to help ANU academic staff design and develop innovative and creative curriculum.

 

Global IT Factory’s Curriculum Management System has been designed to:

  • Support innovation and creativity in curriculum development using features for curriculum mapping, skill and knowledge tables and collaboration.
  • Increase agility, transparency and responsiveness in curriculum development and design based on user-defined templates and integration to publish to the Programs and Courses catalogue.
  • Improve consistency, quality, and timely information for students with the ability to publish Class Summaries (Course Outlines) to the Programs and Courses catalogue.
  • Reduce staff workload by automating routine functions and providing a single point of data entry.
  • Build on existing IT initiatives with the use of Single-Sign On, and integration between ANU systems, the cloud-based platform, and an Electronic Records Management System (ERMS).
