Global IT Factory is proud to continue its support of Variety – the Children’s Charity through Australia’s most iconic charity motoring event: the Variety Bash.
This year’s event, running from 8–17 August 2025, is especially exciting—it marks a National Bash and 50 years of supporting Australian kids in need. The route will take participants from Hamilton to Darwin on a spectacular Outback Odyssey, with stops in regional communities to deliver life-changing Variety Grants.
Although we won’t be driving in the event, we’re backing Leo and Dylan Reid as they join a convoy of themed vehicles traveling through some of Australia’s most remote and breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, participants meet local families, visit schools, and deliver essential equipment and support to children who are sick, disadvantaged, or living with disability.
In the last year alone, Variety impacted the lives of 181,281 kids across Australia. In Victoria, $1.29 million in grants was distributed, directly helping 17,010 children—from providing mobility equipment and learning aids to supporting inclusive programs and rural schools.
The Variety Bash is more than a road trip. It’s a powerful display of community spirit and generosity, with past events raising significant funds to help kids access vital support, services, and opportunities they might otherwise go without.
We see social responsibility not as a checkbox, but as an extension of who we are. Supporting causes like Variety allows us to play a small part in making a big difference. As a company that partners with educational institutions across the globe, we know how transformative access and opportunity can be. That’s why initiatives like this matter to us.
